How credits work
One credit is one metered minute. Render credits count minutes of video you export. AI credits count minutes of media an AI task processes or produces: transcribing a 10-minute interview uses 10 AI credits, and dubbing uses one credit per minute of speech it generates.
AI text features, such as the editing assistant chat and the AI agents, don't work in minutes, so they use AI credits in proportion to what the text model costs us. The estimate before you run one shows how many.
You see the cost first. Every job shows its estimate in credits before you start it. Workspace owners can set monthly budgets for the workspace and for each member, with alerts at 80% and 100%; a hard budget stops jobs that would go over.
Credits reset on the 1st of every month (UTC) and don't roll over. Editing, grading, previewing and pre-export QC don't use credits.
Free plan watermark. Every video exported on the Free plan carries a visible "Made with PrismFilm" watermark. Paid plans can switch it off.
Cancel any time: a paid plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for, then the workspace moves to Free. Your projects and media are kept. See Refunds & Cancellation.
